Teaching Tips, Episode 202

Why does suffering happen?

Where is God in suffering? How can we grow and develop as we go through times of trial?

In this session, we will explore what key passages from the Bible say about these and other related questions – starting with the creation account. We continue by considering the ministry of Jesus, and how the writings of the apostles and prophets give us hope now and for the future as they point to the ultimate hope.

This is the audio of the Zoom workshop conducted on Saturday, 30 May 2020. Simon Dinning and Chris Birtles made presentations on the topic of suffering. Following that discussion groups explored the topic further.

This recording provides my introduction, the two talks and conclusion as well as prayers by Sandra and Claudine.

Two further sessions will follow on Saturday 6th and 13th of June. If you would like to register please go to my website where you will find all the details on the dedicated page.

Video of the session is available on my YouTube channel.
