Brunswick Square

Hanging out for post-birthday lunch coffee with Mohan & the London church staff.

Sunday Morning

If there is a better place to sip one's early morning cup of Sunday tea, I've yet to find it. My parents' garden – birdsong in the ears, sunshine on the face.

Kipling’s desk

Now that’s what you call a desk! Rudyard Kipling’s desk – with a smaller one for his secretary to type on to the right. Apparently he never typed himself complaining that it couldn’t spell!

Having a break

Penny & I having a sit-down on our stroll around Scotney Castle.

Hops

Kentish hops have been included in the ceiling plasterwork of the writing room at the house in Scotney.

Grimsdyke

Early morning sunlight shimmering on this beautiful flower. I love coming up here to walk & pray.

Windsor

After dropping Penny off at a training course, Jack & I had a walk in the beautiful Windsor Great Park.

Dinner with the Trappes

Had a great time at the Trappe household last night – shepherd’s pie for dinner! Michael (Frank’s brother) fed the little one while Becky had her spelling test (she’s not sulking in this picture, just concentrating on learning her spellings!). She did really well when Dad tested her. Thanks for looking after me – and entertaining me!
